I think that Romeo and Juliet connects to our world today with teens falling in love and having a very stong and passionate relationship with each other. However, the age of the two lovers and the time they spend with each other planning for a marriage and their future doesn’tconnect. Teens nowadays rarely plan a marriage after meeting each other for the first time at a party or something like that and then planning to escape their freinds and family just for their love benefits of being in each other’s special presence. Also, parents telling their kids to have children at a young age is somewhat not good advice now because of all the work one has to do for a baby child, not attending school or having a babysitter, and just missing out life as an adolescent. I understand the love at first sight and always wanting to be with each other but definitely not the age of starting strong love and a relationship that goes beyond the ordinary as well as the parents’ view on things. It doesn’t seem right for a teen to start an adult life unprepared and at a young age.
